Peacocks

Do you ever feel like a certain idea or image just keeps cropping up in your head or is following you around?  Lately, for me it's been peacocks.  I've even been collecting different reference material because I feel drawn to these amazing birds for some reason.  Here's some of my inspiration...

So, what do I do with all of this creative imagery? Put my child to work of course!  My eight year old, budding artist decided to paint a peacock of her very own and I must say... I'm lovin' it!  Check it out for yourself....

Now I guess it's time for mom to go to work.  Who knows, maybe I'll be featuring some peacocks of my very own at the upcoming Candler Park Festival!
